I’m Alex! Lover of working out, cooking (and eating), and trying new things.

After graduating college in 2013 where I was a four-year member of the lightweight crew team, I spent the past year training for rowing. I started off in Philly at Vesper Boat Club and then made the big move across the country to sunny Long Beach, CA (perfect timing to miss the long Northeast winter). This year the goal was to qualify for the Senior World Championships (having been a part of the Under-23 National team the past two years), but unfortunately rib stress fractures have put a stop to my training. For now. So I finally have the time to do things like start a blog, see friends and family whenever I want, stay up late, and think about life—things I’ve missed out on for the past five years. So welcome to my blog of all the thoughts, ideas, workouts, and recipes that I’ve kept inside my head until now. And enjoy all my future discoveries.
